Cascading Villa
A single-family home nestled within a forest plot — discreet toward the street, fully open toward the trees, with a central glazed pool as its sensory heart.

The project is a single-family home nestled within a forest plot. It presents itself as discreet and introverted toward the street. Its solid, protective façade ensures that random passersby cannot perceive how the home unfolds within the plot. From the entrance side, the structure appears abstract and restrained — an architectural shell that conceals the life behind it.

In contrast, the south-facing interior side of the plot features expansive glazing and a completely different spatial character. Here, the house opens almost entirely toward nature, allowing everyday living spaces to merge with the forest setting.
At the heart of the home lies a central indoor pool — simultaneously a recreational amenity and an experiential focal point. Enveloped by glass, the pool becomes part of the family's circulation and daily routine. A skylight above animates the water surface with shimmering reflections, transforming the pool into a sensory and artistic element. In summer, a large glazing panel opens, converting the pool into an outdoor experience.

The house reveals further layers of privacy and programmatic complexity: a generous underground parking hall houses the family's car collection, while a heated winter garden — constructed entirely in glass — enables year-round engagement with greenery, even during cold months. Together, these hidden features reinforce a sense of inward luxury and controlled connection to the natural environment.
